If you don't know me yet, let me introduce myself: I'm Johanna Breuch, illustrator, designer, and a little bit obsessed with cats.

I founded The Printed Cat in 2019 as a way to turn my cat-themed illustrations into actual, tangible things you can hold, wear, or stick on your laptop. I draw and design everything myself in my studio in Leiden, The Netherlands. Giclée art prints, screen-printed clothing and tote bags are produced in-house. Everything else I try and get made as locally and sustainably as possible.

My illustrations are whimsical, colourful and often humorous. I love grumpy cats and chonky orange bois, though I try and draw every shape and color of cat at least once!
