Grumpy Flower - Bucket Hat

Another bucket hat has entered the shop! This sky blue washed dye hat is perfect for the summer holiday. It spends your eyes some shade and keeps your head covered from the burning sun while adding a bunch of color to your outfit. I like to actually go fishing with those, something about it originally being a fisherman’s hat becoming a fashion symbol returning to the boring life on a boat really speaks to me.

You can choose between two styles of design application. The first is a DTF print that is heat pressed onto the hat. The second is an embroidered patch that is applied via the same heat press. While the first one is a bit cheaper to produce, it does feel a bit flat and plasticky, whereas the embroidery option gives a more luxury appearance. In clothing, I don't like to use DTF prints as they feel plasticky and don't survive a lot of washes like screen prints. But as hats are, if at all, pretty difficult to screen print onto and don't get washed often, I decided to go with a more affordable option for this application.

You can also purchase the patches sepperatley, just be advised that you will need a special heatpress to apply them securely to hats, as they're curved. :)
